By Air

To Bordeaux Airport from Gatwick and Manchester or to Paris and then an internal flight to Bordeaux, Bergerac or Perigueux.

From Stanstead to Bergerac – daily, Ryan Air, and Fly Be from Southampton to Bergerac, Liverpool to Bergerac. There is also Bristol and Birmingham to Bergerac.

Car Hire is available at all the airports.

By Road

From Bergerac – arriving at Bergerac on the Bordeaux road (D936) you will come to the first of three roundabouts (LeClerc supermarket on the left) – take the lorry route (first exit) around the Bergerac bypass. Go straight on at the next roundabout.

Turn left at the third roundabout. (there is a new turning on this roundabout… it’s straight over if you’re on the ring road, OR it’s the first turning if you are coming from BERGERAC AIRPORT.

Take this turn off, and follow to another roundabout. This roundabout is new (just opened Jan 2007). You need to take the D32 turning towards St Alvere (time from here is approx 25mins), this road now leads to a second roundabout take the direction St Alvere. Then there is another roundabout very close to the last one, again take direction St Alvere.

Follow this road to St Foy de Longas and turn right in this village onto D8 for Grand Castang.

After 3km Grand Castang is signed posted to the left… watch out as it’s up a hill and the sign isn’t marked clearly you will also see the sign post in green for Domaine des Blanches Colombes.

Go through the village keeping right.

Take next right just as you leave the village – and turn right though the iron gates into Domaine des Blanches Colombes (sign on the gate). On the opposite side of the road is large fenced orchard.

For Mauzac and Grand Castang – Bazille and Cezanne - please arrive at Domaine des Blanches Colombes and someone will escort you to the riverside property (it is approx 10 mins in the car).
